General body aches and pains are quite common to many people due to a number of factors such as exercise, sleeping on a poor mattress or sitting for long periods of time at work. One of the best ways to relieve the tension and the stress from your muscles and joints is through our professional massage therapy programs.

Get the most powerful detoxification experience with great relaxation with Infrared Sauna Therapy only at Viride Wellness Spa.  This treatment regimen heats the body directly as opposed to simply warming the air around. Infrared waves penetrate 2 to 3 inches deep into body tissue, muscles and joints so as to provide a natural warmth. This raises the core body temperature to produce a dep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level to remove toxins.

Visit Viride Wellness Spa to avail of our customized skincare treatment programs to make you look younger and refreshed.  Our lead esthetician will talk to you first about your concerns and goals and then will design a personalized treatment program to address them.

Our calm and balance facial treatment can bring tired looking skin back to life. When you avail of this facial your complexion appears toned and enriched. It is also good for rosacea prone skin as it can reduce inflammation and irritation.  Our hydrate and replenish facial treatment is perfect to restoring dry, flaky skin. We use a nourishing intense hydration to rebalance. The lipids create a moisture barrier and hyaluronic acid works to attract and retain skin moisture in order to keep it soft and supple.

Our Thai reflexology foot massage is the ultimate foot massage you will ever experience. Indulge in a meditative experience that uses a combination of reflexology and binaural sound therapy to completely free you from the stresses of everyday living.  This ancient art promotes a rejuvenating and relaxing effect that not only heals the mind but also the soul.

Our Ashiatsu massage treatment is a barefoot massage technique that makes use of the feet as opposed to the hands in order to perform a deep tissue massage.  Ashiatsu is perfect for lengthening the spine to relieve irritation on the nerves and connective tissues. It is quite effective for treating chronic low back pain, muscle spasms, athletic injuries, reduction of scar tissue and more.

The village of Bloomingdale is known to be one of the earliest villages to be settled in what is now DuPage County. The first family to settle there in 1833 was the Meacham family and by the end of the following year about 121 to 15 additional families also began to call the place home. Bloomingdale was originally known as Meacham’s Grove. It was mainly served by the Chicago-Galena Highway in what is now known as Lake Street. The area became an integral stop for stage coaches and travelers heading westward. Originally part of Cook County, it was annexed by DuPage County in 1839. The northern part was more akin to commercial development while the southern area wanted to remain a farming community. This was settled in 1923 when the village split in order to accommodate these needs when the northern portion was incorporated as Roselle.
