Brow Lamination – The procedure can help any brow concern you may have whether it is gaps, thinning, over-plucking or just unruliness. Our method is a great alternative to invasive microblading and can give your brows the set uniform shape with an illusion of a much bolder, fuller or thicker brows for at least 6-8 weeks.

Lip Rescue – Our lip procedure can erase the look of dryness and rejuvenate your lips to a naturally effective three-step procedure. We use gentle fruit enzymes to refine the lip region and followed with an extra rich masque that provides deep hydration and then finished off with a balm that stimulates lip-enhancing collagen.

Life in Elgin IL

Elgin is located in Kane County and is 40 miles northwest of Chicago. It sits beautifully along the majestic Fox River and has a storied history that dates back to 1854. During that time the city’s major industries are world-class watchmaking and dairy production. At one time, Elgin was known as the Butter Capital of the World at one point for its prolific dairy production that was only eclipsed with the arrival of the Elgin Watch Company, the biggest producer of fine watches in the United States. Today, the biggest assets of the city are its warm and friendly community, an award winning river walk, fine museums, dazzling architecture and the popular Grand Victoria Casino.

Wonderful Museums

Elgin is known for its wonderful museums and you can experience living history by riding an old-fashioned trolley car at the Fox River Trolley Museum. The trolley was once integral to American life at one point and the museum’s electric trolleys can take you on a guided four-mile tour along the banks of the Fox River over tracks that at one point connected the city with Carpentersville, Aurora and Yorkville. You will be able to view relics from the infamous Great Chicago Fire and learn the history of the Elgin Fire Department at the Elgin Fire Barn No. 5 Museum.

Grand Victoria Casino

A visit to Elgin would not be complete without rolling the dice at the Grand Victoria Casino, a gorgeous riverboat on the picturesque Fox River. The casino attracts over 4 million visitors yearly and is known as the 5th most popular tourist spot in the state.  There are 1,100 slot machines and table games where you can play blackjack, roulette and three card poker. If gambling is not really your thing, the casino houses the popular award-winning Buckingham’s Steakhouse and Lounge where you can feast on a variety of steak dishes, fresh seafood offerings, lamb, pork and poultry selections and a gorgeous wine list.

Hemmens Cultural Center – See and be seen at the 1,200-seat theater along the banks of Elgin’s famous Riverwalk. The center hosts a veritable line-up of A-list performers from the likes of Willie Nelson and B.B. King.  The Hemmens also is the home of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra. The ESO holds over 50 concerts a year with music ranging from classic, pop, educational and holiday performances.

The city was founded in 1835 by the Gifford brothers when they travelled west and was drawn to the Fox River.  The city was named after the Scottish hymn, “The Song of Elgin.”  Most of the city lies within Kane County with a portion in Cook County.  In 1849 the Galena and Chicago Union Railroad reached the city and provided convenient access to Chicago. The city was once known as the “butter capital of the world” for the number of butter and dairy goods sold. However, the arrival of the Elgin Watch Company eclipsed this achievement when it became one of the biggest producer of fine watches in the country.
